The screen beeps and flashes green. I push the buttons with my small fingers. The ship moves slowly left and right. When it shoots at the aliens, they shrink! But then more appear from above. I try to hit as many as I can before time runs out. Sometimes I only get a few points, but other times I rack up lots. Today, I’m aiming for a high score. The alien ships speed up. They’re getting harder to hit now. A sudden loud noise makes the machine vibrate. I smile, excited by the challenge.
