The big red letters shine bright on the console screen. I tap the joystick left and right, trying to make them move across the colorful pictures. A loud pop sound when I push up too hard. The little man in the green hat stands still, no matter what button I press. A new game just came out today! It has a map with lots of places to explore. The trees and mountains look like they’re made of blocks. Sometimes, a sparkly gem appears on the screen, and the sound beeps happy. But now, it’s stuck at this menu part. Maybe if I press all buttons together, something will happen. Nothing changes though. A little disappointed but still hopeful it’ll work soon.
