The big red machine in the corner is making loud beeps and boops. It’s turning the TV into pictures of tiny people fighting. I keep pressing buttons hoping to make one of them pop up on screen. Sometimes a funny face shows, with squiggly lines for hair. Other times it just says “GAME OVER” really big. I like how the machine makes me laugh even when it doesn’t do what I want.
