Today is my first day at the new coding club! Mom dropped me off with all my Scratch projects packed in my backpack. It’s winter, but I feel warm inside, just like when I play Sonic’s Spinning Rings on my computer.

We’re learning how to make our own games! The teacher started by showing us a simple code that makes a character move across the screen. It looks so easy, and yet, it’s magic. I can’t wait to try it out myself!

There’s this cool project where you make an animated character jump up and down like in Sonic. But we have to use our own commands, not just copy from the example. It’s harder than it seems, but that’s why it feels so good when you finally get it right.

The best part is seeing all these kids working together, sharing ideas. Some are struggling, and others are already ahead. I’m excited to be part of this community where everyone wants to learn and help each other. Maybe today will be the day I create something that moves, maybe even flies like Sonic!
