Today’s collection was extra special. The leaves are so colorful, they look like little jewels in the grass. I’ve got orange, red, yellow, and even some dark green ones. I found a big, flat leaf that I think will make the best bookmark ever. The sound of them crunching underfoot is so satisfying. I noticed how different each one looks, almost as if they were made by nature itself to be unique treasures. The sky is partly cloudy with just enough blue peeking through for the perfect shade of light to highlight all the colors. Feeling quite peaceful and content as I gather these colorful friends to keep me company.
