The Game Console's Whirring
The game console sits on the carpeted floor, its big black box making soft whirring sounds. It hums like a little engine. Plugged into it are two controllers with red and blue buttons. I push the power button, and a bright screen lights up, showing colorful shapes moving around. The sound is loud and clear—beeps and boops that make me laugh. I press buttons to choose a game, but nothing happens at first. I try again, pressing harder this time. The screen turns black for a moment before the game loads, showing a map with green grass and blue sky. A small car appears on the road. I use the controller to drive it, turning left and right, going fast and slow. The console whirs louder as I play, making me smile.
