The screen of the Nintendo Switch lights up with bright colors. I press the button to turn it on, and the Mario world appears. A soft whirring sound comes from inside as the system boots. I wait for Luigi to appear, ready to play. When he does, I use the right stick to move him left and right. The screen flickers slightly, but the game keeps going. I jump over a few Goombas with just enough time before they can touch me. The coins sparkle as I collect them. The screen vibrates softly when Luigi lands on each one. It’s fun watching his feet bounce up and down on the ground.
