New Coding Club Challenges

Today started off with some tough coding problems. I’ve been trying to figure out why my program keeps crashing. It’s supposed to count the number of letters in each word and display them all together, like a big sentence of numbers! But something’s not right.

I tried typing “hello world” as an example, but it just spits back gibberish. I thought maybe I forgot to add the part where it adds up all the letters, so I went over that section again and again. Still no luck!

After a while, I realized I needed help. So I looked at the code from yesterday’s lesson on arrays and loops. Maybe there’s something I missed. There are those nested loops making me dizzy!

Next, our teacher gave us a hint: make sure to initialize variables properly. That made sense because if you don’t, sometimes your program just gets confused. Now I’m trying to add that bit of initialization before the loop starts counting.

But it’s tricky because I need to do this for every single word in my input. Ugh, coding can be so frustrating! Yet, there’s something satisfying about solving these puzzles. It’s like putting together a really complex puzzle piece by piece until everything fits just right.
