Floating Rings Practice
I spend the afternoon practicing with those spinning rings. It’s tricky, but I’m getting better at catching them mid-air and making them loop around my arms. Sometimes I try to make patterns, like a star or a spiral. The rings are shiny and light; they feel like magic as they float through the air.
Dad leaves a note saying he’ll pick up the new controller for Sonic’s game from the toy store tomorrow. It has a blue screen with a spaceship and floating rings on it. I can’t wait to see what new levels and challenges they have in store!
Tonight, I watch part of the soccer match. The team scores a goal, but then they lose their next few games. I try not to think about that too much; instead, I focus on getting better at my spinning rings.
Before bed, I write down some ideas for ring tricks. Maybe I can figure out how to make them spin in circles around each other or balance one on top of another. Sleep comes easy with the promise of a new game and more floating rings tomorrow.
