The New Super Mario Bros. on GameCube

The game starts with the screen turning black before a blue star lights up. It’s bright and shiny like a real star in the sky. Mario pops out first, wearing his red shirt and cap, then Luigi follows right behind him. They look excited as they jump through levels filled with Goombas, Koopas, and fire flowers. The screen shakes when Mario gets hit by an enemy or collects coins. I press A to make Luigi help Mario, and together they can beat the level faster. Yoshi appears in some stages too, riding on his back and eating eggs. The music is fun and bouncy like a parade marching down Main Street. I love how the levels change from green fields to mushroom houses. When I finish a world, it’s like unlocking a new storybook chapter.
