Space Station Exploring Asteroids
The asteroid glows softly in the station’s low-lighting. Its surface is rough, like the moon but with strange patterns. I’m practicing moving slowly across it to get a better look at the craters. It’s challenging because of how small my steps need to be. The camera on my glove captures everything. I can see the dots and lines that represent my path. Each step feels significant, as if I’m uncovering something new in space.
The station’s computer has lots of data about this asteroid, but nothing matches what I’m seeing. There must be more secrets out there waiting to be discovered. Maybe one day someone will follow up on these notes and find even bigger discoveries. For now, it’s just me and the asteroid, surrounded by endless stars that twinkle like old stories.
