I’ve been working on fixing some bugs in my game mod for hours. The code just won’t behave as I want it to. Every time I think I’ve got it right, something goes haywire. Maybe if I take a break and come back with fresh eyes…

Last night’s rainstorm left the power out for most of the evening, but thankfully, my laptop was plugged into an uninterruptible power supply. Now everything is fine again, but I feel like all this debugging is making me a bit dizzy. I keep typing the same lines over and over, trying to catch that elusive error.

I should probably give myself a break for a few minutes. Maybe a snack or something? But I don’t want to lose my train of thought. I need to get this done before Mom checks on me. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to power through it.
