The Fluttering Leaves

A soft breeze whispers through the trees, sending leaves dancing in my path. They twirl and flutter like tiny golden butterflies, each one unique with its own shape and color. One lands on my nose; it’s light as a feather. I giggle as another slips between my fingers, its crisp texture tickling my skin. The sun filters through the branches, casting dappled patterns on the ground. A leaf glides by, catching the last bit of sunlight before it falls to rest, creating a warm patch under my foot.
