The Gameboy’s bright screen lights up in my hands. I press the buttons, hearing the soft clicks. The screen shows colorful blocks falling down. I move them left and right with the D-pad, trying to get a high score. Sometimes they fit just right, making a satisfying sound as they lock into place. Other times, one block falls and ruins everything. I keep playing, hoping for that perfect line clear.
