The screen hums cold under my tiny fingers. I try again, pressing the buttons harder. The game says “Game Over” with that annoying beep. I tap the reset button but it doesn’t work right away. Frustrated, I push a bit harder and the sound changes to a high-pitched squeal. I frown and shake my head, trying the start button instead. Still no go. The game just keeps showing “Game Over” with that same beep. I look around for help but there’s nobody here. Sighing, I decide to give it one more try. This time, when I press reset, the sound turns into a deep rumble. Smiling, I try again and this time, success! The screen brightens up and shows me where I went wrong. I play for a few more minutes before deciding to turn off the console. The warm glow of it fades as I hit the power button.
