The controller buzzes in my hand as I hold down the A button. The screen lights up with colors that swirl like candy floss. I try pressing different buttons, but nothing happens. Frustrated, I shake the controller and hear the buzzing grow louder. It’s like the controller is trying to talk to me. I press Start hoping it will do something, but all it does is make a soft beep. The game still loads eventually, but not in the way I want. The characters move too slow, like they’re stuck in syrup. I tap harder on the buttons, expecting them to come alive faster, but nothing changes. Still, I keep playing, tapping and waiting for something exciting to happen.
