The screen flickers as I press the button. A red moustached man in a cap appears, his feet on a block. With another push, he jumps high, reaching for stars that blink on and off. His legs snap up and down like a toy’s spring. The jumping sound is sharp and clear, different from other sounds in the game. It’s like his legs are made of rubber. I try again, pressing harder this time. The man floats higher, then lands with a soft thud. His legs snap up again, ready for another jump. It’s fun to see how high he can go by snapping those legs.
