The Game Boy's Bright Screen

The Game Boy’s bright screen lights up in my hand. I press the start button—beep! The characters from Tetris appear as green squares on the tiny screen. I move them with my thumb, making them fit perfectly together like building blocks but smaller. Sometimes they stick out a little and need to be pushed back down. The screen is cool to touch, not hot like the sun. When I press up or down, the block moves slowly, stopping right where it should. The music plays softly as pieces fall into place. It’s fun to see how many lines I can clear before the blocks reach the top.
