The screen lights up with vibrant colors as the game starts. Mario jumps from platform to platform, his cape fluttering in a nonexistent wind. Yoshi chomps down hard on enemy shells, spitting them out like fireballs. The player presses buttons quickly, dodging piranha plants and avoiding falling stars. A giant turtle shell is dropped, and Mario bounces up into the air. The level transitions to underwater, where Mario breathes easily despite being submerged. Pipes shoot water, and a Goomba swims by in a fish costume. Reaching the end, Mario stomps on a Koopa King, and the screen freezes with a triumphant message: “Level Complete.” The controller hums softly as it’s unplugged, leaving a warm glow from the TV behind.
