The screen blinks on, showing the opening logo of the latest Pokémon game. It’s bright and colorful, making my eyes squint. I’m sitting cross-legged on the living room carpet, controller in hand, ready to start the adventure. The menu shows a map with different regions; I choose the one called Galar because it looks so cool.

The game loads up, and suddenly, there’s this Pokémon flying overhead. It’s a Porygon-Z, and it looks like something out of a science fiction movie. The screen zooms in on it, showing intricate patterns that move as if they’re alive. The sound is clear—crisp and sharp.

I tap the A button to capture the Pokémon. The game asks me what type of ball I want to use. I choose the Ultra Ball because it’s always a good choice. The Porygon-Z flies closer, and when my finger moves across the screen, the ball shoots out. It hits the Pokémon just right, and the screen confirms the catch with an exciting explosion of colors.

The new game has so many shiny Pokémon to collect. I can’t wait to explore all the regions and see what rare creatures I can find.
