The red bulb on the Game Boy flickers. Sometimes it stays off completely, leaving only blackness in the small screen. Other times, it blinks like someone is playing a game but can’t quite remember all the rules. I try to press buttons, hoping to make the screen come alive with colorful characters and adventures. But nothing happens. Just the red bulb, dancing in time with my impatient little fingers tapping on the keys.
