Last Night's Movie Marathon
Tonight felt like movie marathon night. Started with a quick snack—some popcorn and a couple of sodas. Popped in the DVDs one by one, feeling the excitement building up.
First was “The Lion King,” reliving Simba’s journey all over again. The songs are still stuck in my head, but I guess that’s okay. Next came “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.” Jack Sparrow is the best; his wit and adventure never get old. Then it was time for a classic—Spider-Man 2. Peter Parker’s struggles with responsibility and love were like the battles I face at school.
Now, I’m on my last movie: “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.” The suspense builds as Dumbledore prepares to fight Voldemort again. It’s almost too much to take in when the final battle comes. Harry’s bravery is inspiring, but it’s the moments with Ron and Hermione that make everything feel so real.
The ending credits are rolling, signaling the end of a perfect night. I stretch my arms over my head, feeling content but ready for bed. Maybe I’ll catch up on some reading or just drift off into sleep thinking about Hogwarts and its marauders.
