The screen of the Game Boy lights up with colorful squares. A bead of water appears on the side, trickling down slowly. I shake it gently but the drop falls, wetting my pants. The screen blinks off, then back on again, flickering weakly. I try turning it off and on. No luck. Drips keep coming, making little pools around the edges. I set it carefully in a drawer, trying not to make them bigger. Maybe if I leave it alone, it will stop.
