Doodle Frenzy
I sit cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by crumpled paper scraps. The pencil in my hand skitters across the desk, tracing out endless loops and zigzags. My mind races with new designs—spaceships shooting stars, monsters stomping castles, and secret agents slipping through shadows. Each line is a puzzle piece fitting into some grand narrative only I can see.
The TV hums softly in the background, showing cartoon characters zipping around in silly schemes. But my eyes drift back to the drawings as they take shape before me. The pencil glides effortlessly, creating creatures with tentacles and wings that seem almost real.
Suddenly, the door creaks open just a crack and I freeze, heart pounding. A gust of warm air wafts in, carrying the faint scent of cinnamon. I peek over my shoulder but no one is there. Silently, I promise to keep this secret world hidden from prying eyes. The pencil resumes its dance across the paper as my thoughts spiral into more fantastical realms.
