Spinning Rings Practice
Today feels like an endless loop of spinning rings. I’ve been at it for hours, trying different angles and movements with my fingers, all while ignoring the mess on my desk. Paper scraps and sticky notes are scattered everywhere, but I can barely notice them. The ring seems to dance in my hand as I experiment with twists and turns. Each one brings a slight change in how it spins, like finding hidden treasures.
I wish I had more time, maybe even until sunset so the shadows cast interesting patterns on the floor. But dinner call has already sounded twice, and I need to make an appearance or face another round of nagging. Ugh, why do parents always have to be right? Still, they’ll probably offer me some spaghetti, which is okay because it’s better than usual.
Tonight’s goal: find that perfect spin where the ring disappears entirely. It sounds impossible, but I won’t give up until I see it happen. Maybe then, just maybe, I can impress everyone at school tomorrow.
