The rocket soars high into the sky, leaving behind a trail of white smoke. It’s launch day for the big space mission at school. I can’t believe how fast it goes up! The sky turns from blue to a mix of orange and pink as the sun sets. My fingers are crossed that the camera catches everything perfectly.

I watch intently through the telescope, zooming in on the rocket. It looks so small now, but it’s still traveling at incredible speed. I imagine myself floating up there with it, feeling the rush of wind. The ground below seems to get smaller and smaller as the minutes pass.

The teacher calls out that we’ve lost sight of the rocket, but I keep watching for a bit longer just in case. A few stars start twinkling above us, making everything look magical. It feels like being part of something really big, even though it’s only a small rocket from school. Maybe one day, I’ll get to see something like this up close!
