Afternoon Coding Marathon
I spend hours today coding on my computer. The screen is bright and blinding against the late afternoon light that filters through my window. I’ve got a project for a game I’m working on, trying to add more characters. Each line of code feels like another piece in this puzzle. My fingers dance over the keys, typing fast. There are moments when everything works just right, and I get little bursts of excitement—small victories. But most of the time, it’s just hard work.
The timer on my screen shows how long I’ve been coding. Hours have passed without me noticing. My back starts to ache from sitting so still for too long. I stretch and yawn, looking at the list of tasks I need to complete. The task is simple—just a few more lines, but it feels like an eternity.
As the sun sets outside, casting a warm orange glow over my room, I feel tired but satisfied. I save my work, close the lid on my laptop, and walk to the window. There’s a fresh chill in the air, but inside, my room is still cozy and full of digital creations.
