The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

A bright morning sun hits the screen, making it gleam. I plug in the GamePad, its familiar whirring starting up. The title screen flickers to life with a blue and gold sparkle. I press Start, choosing “New Game” and enter my name on the hero’s shield: Link. His green tunic blinks to life, and he stands tall before the castle gates.

I walk through the gate and into Hyrule Field. The grass crunches under my feet as I set off eastward. A red house with a fence marks an old man’s farm. He waves from behind his barn door. I wave back but keep walking, the path leading me to an abandoned village. Cobwebs drape between houses, and dust clouds float away.

A wall of rock blocks the way; it must be Gohma’s cave. I press A to jump onto a floating stone above and slide through the gap. Inside, a large creature with eight eyes and red wings flaps wildly. I dodge its attacks and slash at it with my sword. Its life meter slowly depletes until it vanishes in a puff of smoke.

Outside again, I find a small chest half-buried in dirt. I dig it up to reveal a Key, which glows faintly under the sun. I tuck it into my inventory and head back west. A new path opens, leading through a dense forest filled with tall trees and shadows that dance on the ground.

As I explore, I hear music from a nearby bridge. Following the melody, I find a hidden door beneath a log. Inside, I solve puzzles to unlock a door, revealing a mysterious blue chasm. On the other side lies a castle tower, its walls glowing with magical energy.
