I pulled the cord. It was big and heavy. A man had been working on it all day but he didn’t save his work. Now everything is gone. There were funny pictures that moved by themselves. And sounds! But when I plugged it in again, it wasn’t working right. The screen went dark like a closed door. The man said computers are very powerful and can remember lots of things. But if you don’t save them, they forget. The machine hummed softly but nothing showed anymore. It was like magic had left the toy, even though I couldn’t see it.
