Space Station's New Robot
I stand before the new robot model at school. It’s taller than me, with sleek blue panels and glowing red eyes that blink like a friendly alien. Today, I get to help program its movements during recess. The teacher explains that it can move left or right when we press buttons on our tablets. We line up the robot in the center of the playground, then take turns pressing ‘left’ or ‘right.’ It scurries back and forth like it’s playing a game. After my turn, I watch as it stops suddenly, its red eyes flickering before turning off completely. The teacher nods, saying we’ll program better next time. As the other kids gather around to see what happened, I wonder how much more advanced these new robots will get. Maybe one day, they could explore space just like their namesakes on that cool space station!
