The New Coding Club's Space Mission

I’ve been working on the new mission for what feels like forever. It’s about exploring asteroids from the safety of our space station! I’ve drawn up all these sketches of asteroids with strange rocks and craters. The graphics are going to be sick—I can already see it in my head.

The club is going wild over this project. We spent hours yesterday just talking about what kind of challenges we could put inside the asteroid field. There’s something about space that makes everyone feel so adventurous. It’s like our own little interstellar adventure, you know?

I’ve been coding like mad to make sure everything runs smoothly when I add in the asteroids. The spaceship model is coming together really well—kind of looks like a cross between an old school Star Wars ship and a futuristic rover. Can’t wait to see it move around in space.

We also have a new member, Alex, who joined last week. They’re super into coding and already helping us out with some cool functions for the mission. It’s nice having someone else to bounce ideas off of. Maybe we’ll get our first spacewalk planned soon!

The deadline is getting closer too. I’ve been staying up late working on it, but it feels so rewarding when you see something you made come to life in a game. The stars light up the screen as the spaceship zips through the asteroid field—so simple and yet so epic.

I’m really excited for everyone to try out the new mission. Can’t wait to hear their reactions!
