Today’s been all about the new game. Dad brought it home from the store just as I was getting ready for school. The box is so colorful with blue, red, and yellow. It’s got this cool kid on it who looks like he’s in a race or something.

When I opened it up, there were four discs! Four shiny discs waiting to be played. But first, I had to do my math homework because Dad said video games come after schoolwork. So now, when I sit down at the computer, the screen is bright and the game starts with a big ‘B’ sound. It’s like magic how it all comes to life.

The game has so many levels already! I’m starting on level one right now, and there are these floating rings that look like they could be real if you looked close enough. I have to jump up and down to get them, and when I do, I feel like I’m flying. It’s fun, but a bit tricky. The instructions say it’s for ages 12 and above, but I think I can figure out how to play.

After school, I’ll dive in with my friends on the internet. They’ve all heard about this game, too. We’re going to see who can get through more levels faster. But first, I need to finish my homework so Dad won’t be upset. Then it’s off to the races!
