New Website Discoveries

I’ve been spending so much time online lately that I feel like I’m discovering new worlds. Today was all about finding cool websites that make my coding classes more fun. I stumbled upon a site called CodePen where you can share snippets of HTML and CSS with the community. It’s amazing how quickly people respond with feedback or even better ideas.

I spent hours looking at others’ projects, feeling both inspired and a little intimidated by their creativity. One guy made this interactive clock that changes colors based on the time of day! Another created a mini-game where you have to solve a puzzle using just CSS transforms. It’s like having access to tons of teachers who can instantly see your work.

I tried making something simple—a spinning globe effect using JavaScript and SVGs. It took me forever, but when I finally got it working, there was this tiny thrill of accomplishment. The animation is nothing fancy, just a rotation every few seconds, but seeing it come together felt really satisfying.

There’s also a community forum where people discuss coding challenges and share tips. Someone wrote a guide on using Webpack, which made me realize how much more I have to learn. But that’s okay—I’m excited to dive deeper into all these tools and techniques.

Tonight, instead of watching TV or playing video games like usual, I might just keep exploring this new world online for a while longer. There’s something almost addictive about the endless possibilities out there waiting to be discovered.
